Soundscapes – good acoustic environments
The acoustic environment affects our well-being and performance. It consists of all the sound components that we as humans can hear. Some of these components are perceived only as noise, and too much noise causes stress, headaches, and learning difficulties, as well as sleeping problems and lack of rest. A poor acoustic environment can lead to fatigue, irritation, lower concentration, lower productivity, and illness.
Airborne noise within a building, such as human activity and machine noise, can be controlled by lowering the reverberation time – echo –with our SOUNDSCAPES™ acoustic panels. They are the basic building blocks in all our acoustic solutions.
