Research estimates that there are over 150 million tons of plastic in the ocean today, and in a “business-as-usual” model the ocean is expected to contain more plastic than fish by 2050 (by weight) “The New Plastic Economy” by Ellen MacArthur Foundation, 2016

At Intelligent Space it is our vision that plastic should never become waste, but rather a valuable resource. We capture acoustic opportunities through innovative and practical solutions with products based on Soundscapes™ – high quality polyethylene plastic (PET) panels. All our products are made from recycled plastic bottles. This makes them the most effective, environmentally friendly, and sustainable acoustic components on the market.

Thanks to modern technology, we can develop a circular economy where materials can be reprocessed into new products and take on a whole new lifes. A circular plastic economy is therefore more than just reuse of products – it is an infinite cycle of reutilizing and reprocessing plastics.

In Intelligent Space, we also opt for a circular design model that has flexibility, modularity, and reconfigurability in focus. This design approach makes solutions last longer, it demands less processing, and it restricts the amount of plastic that ends up in our environment. It ultimately allows for an infinity of different expressions, functions, and aesthetics.
